Description

Biometrics in aviation has been running at full throttle for the past few years. After being integrated into airline processes, we have seen a 360-degree change on how biometrics impacts customer behavior when traveling. However, it is not just about the tools that airlines are using but how they are managing the customer experience that is most important. In handling the customer more efficiently, airlines have succeeded in turning airplanes around more quickly, gaining 10 minutes or more as a result. In addition, LCC (low-cost carriers) have also been able to generate more revenue at the gate when using biometrics than by implementing traditional boarding practices. It is clear that biometrics is here to stay. In this session, you will be able to see what is next for biometrics and airline travel in the future.
