Nidhin Benjamine is a Senior Manager of Software Engineering at Capital One specializing in
consumer authentication and digital identity. He has played a leading technical role in building
and scaling Capital One’s passkey capabilities, helping bring phishing-resistant authentication to
millions of consumer banking customers.

His work spans modern primary authentication, credential security, FIDO2, and the evolution
from password-based experiences toward stronger, more seamless authentication. Nidhin is
also exploring how established identity and trust models can evolve to support emerging AI,
agentic authentication, and commerce use cases while maintaining the security and resilience
required at banking scale
